HYDRANT & VALVE PROJECT - Have you seen the new valve signs going in around our service area? In an effort to have better information about our distribution system, we hired a contractor to number every hydrant and every valve. We're updating our maps so that when we have a leak, we can shut down just the affected area instead of the entire system. Both the hydrant tags and the valve signs are numbered and are visible from the street which will save time when dealing with service interruptions. We know the signs aren't pretty, but they are necessary so our field personnel can quickly find a valve to turn the water off when there is a leak and quickly turn the water back on once the leak is repaired. Please don't pull the signs out of the ground. If you have any questions regarding this project, please let us know. Thank you for helping us serve you better.
FUTURE PROJECT - We are currently in the process of designing an additional Ground Storage Tank which will be located at our Pump Station on Melody Lane. This additional storage capacity is required by TCEQ Guidelines due to our current number of connections.
